Use your gates to add one or more Discord Roles to a guild member, thereby controlling access to channels by gate conditions.
As of this writing the new Discord Gate type has been tested on NFT policy triggers and currently monitoring the same thing with stake pool related triggers. Discord gating is available to GATR holders with a Pro or Legendary account. More details are forthcoming in the docs section, but making a “Discord Gate” has three basic steps.
Integrate Your Discord to GATR
Visit your Account page to access your available third-party integrations at the bottom of the page. Authenticate with the GATR Discord bot to give permission to Manage Roles. Move your bot’s role to the top of the role hierarchy so that it can assign roles beneath it to users.
Make a Space
Prepare a GATR Space page to host the gate portal you send your audience to. Add custom directions and colorize the page to match your brand.
Make a Gate
Create a new gate with any trigger conditions you choose (NFT, Pool, Drep, ADA) and then select Discord Role for the gate type. If that option is not available to you, you don’t have a high enough tier for this service. Then, pick one or more roles from an owned guild that the user should be added to. It is important to note that you inform your audience, they must already have joined your server before roles can be added to them.
